The Ether Post

Hi.  This is my first post.  I'm calling it the ether post.  Wanna know why?  Well I'll tell you.  Ether post seemed like a good name to me because I'm completely new to this - so new, in fact that I really have no idea what I'm doing.  Aaaand I'm not quite sure why I'm doing it.  And as of now I have, wait, let me check... Oh, yeah, that's right!  I don't even need to check.  I have zero followers.  That's right, zip, 0, nada.  So my theory is that I will publish this post and it will slip quietly out into the ether.   What's ether, you say?  Why it's that ephemeral (made up?) substance of which the atmosphere is composed in that quiet place where blog posts that no one has read go.  Yeah.  Makes sense, doesn't it.  But I felt like I should post something because maybe, just maybe, some one will stumble upon this place and think, "Hey, I wonder what this chick on the horse wrote about?"  Wow.  This is kind of like talking to myself a little.  So here it is, the first post.  There will be others, be sure, self - O you who listen so carefully to everything I say.  Some of them will be deep and profound.  Others will be meaningless and silly.  Sometimes I really crack myself up and when I do, I usually think to myself, "Man, I really should write that down so others can benefit from my startling wit and humor."  Okay, maybe I don't exactly think it that way, but I do think I should write it down.  So, if you're stumbling on this monster, don't run away right away.  I promise it'll get better.  And when me and myself have something we think should be written down, it'll be right here.
